This feature allows you to flick through your music and find the album you want to listen to, simply turn the iPod on to its side and flick through the albums, tap the cover to flip it over so display the track list, tap again to start the music, you can even view the lyrics whilst you’re listening to a song.

Multi-Touch Touchscreen
This feature lets you control your iPod using your fingers, the Mulit-Touch display has a protective shield over a capactive panel that senses touch using electrical fields. It then sends that information to the LCD screen below it. As your typing it will also suggest words and correct any spelling mistakes automatically.

Rock 'n' Run with Nike+
iPod Touch 16GB includes built-in Nike +iPod support. Simply place the Nike + iPod Sensor (available separately) into your Nike + shoe and start exercising. The iPod Touch will track your time, distance and calories burned by communicating with the sensor in the Nike Shoe, it can even give your voice feedback on your results.

Movies
This feature allows you to carry hours of video and watch it on a crisp, clear 3.5 inch colour widescreen display. Browse the iTunes store for your favourite TV shows and download them to your iPod to watch. Tap the display screen to bring up on the onscreen controls, which will allow you to play/pause, view by chapter and adjust the volume or adjust the volume using the controls on the left side of the iPod Touch. There's also a feature that allows you to switch to either widescreen and full screen. The iPod Touch 16GB can store upto 20 Hours of video.

Battery
Better battery life enables the iPod Touch to provide up to 35 hours of audio playback or up to 6 hours of video playback. The volume buttons are on the left side of it, making it easily accessible to the most used controls.
